In January I mailed the required information to request a codice fiscale (see 1/17 post) and I received a letter back from the consulate in February (see 2/6 post) with my number and stating that the Ministry of Finances would be mailing me an actual card. Today my codice fiscale card arrived in the mail from the Los Angeles Consulate, this process took just under 2 months - amazing speed for Italian bureaucracy.
