...New job
Our move to Washington, DC has had perfect timing. The day after we arrived I received a call from an employer about an unsolicited job inquiry I had made via email the week before. This quickly developed into a job offer and I start working here next week.
It took a little over three months of intense searching to land this opportunity. This included daily searching internet sources and networking along with forty-five different times that I submitted resumes or completed applications on-line. Some of these, but not all, were followed by rejections for various reasons.
I am looking forward to this new opportunity in a position doing things I enjoyed from my previous careers but while doing something new and different.

Thanks everyone...It does feel good to be starting work again. Plus we can begin to stock our bank account.

I made it through the first week of training and I will be on my own starting Monday. It looks like this should work out well for me...thanks for the kudos.
