Dog signs

I have mentioned before about the small dogs we see here in Ascoli Piceno and the love affair Italians have with dogs. On a recent visit to nearby Offida I noticed this sign: “Io aspetto qui” or I will wait here. A convenient place to park your dogs leash while you visit the nearby stores.

The second sign is directed to those dog owners whose pets have soiled the street and requests they help to keep the city clean. Bags are supplied for clean-up and the potential fine is 86€ for not following the rules. I would say that Offida is definitely a dog friendly town.
