mi chiamo Clio
I wrote before about our neighbors and the kitten they had named Clea, short for Cleopatra. According to our neighbor she had Clea for her granddaughter who moved into our building this past summer with her mother. They often left Clea out in the common area and, unfortunately, not everyone in the building would close the door to the street; last spring she got out and we never saw her again.
During the summer our neighbor got another kitten, his name is Clio and again he was to be for their granddaughter. The granddaughter moved into our building this summer and Clio still resides with the grandparents. When Clio is outside the door and we open the door to leave he is quickly at our door meowing and purring for attention, always ready to bolt into our apartment if the opening presents itself.
Clio has won our hearts and many times we will hear him in the courtyard playing with something or sitting outside our door with a gentle meow if he hears us inside. He reminds us of the two cats we had in New Mexico and how affectionate they were. If we let Clio in and keep him will our neighbors notice?

Hehe, weeell, they might hear meows now and then, and you might have to come up with an interesting explanation if he gets out and they see him :) he is cute...
Unfortunately many of the cats we see on th streets in Italy bolt when you try to get close to them, they seem to have a built in fear.
Nothing like a cat on your lap on a cold winter night!
He's lovely! awww, I can see why you want him for your own, but you can't. But you CAN feed him and play with him and pet him all you want. Then send him back home :)
Duh, not if you eat him; otherwise . . .
I am a cat lover, too. Who wouldn't want to cuddle the little cutey? Give him treats and pet him, then let someone else have to clean the litter box...a pretty good deal!
Aww. He's beautiful. He looks like a Russian Blue.
