The realities of moving from New Mexico, USA to a small town in southern Italy.

Our 1st American visitors
Last week we had our first visitors from America, sort of. Valerie’s parents were here for 4 days on their way from Spain back to Ohio. It was good to see some family. While they were here they rented a car and we spent 2 days going to some of the stores off the bus route that we have wanted to browse. They also helped us to figure out an internet option from the house in Anzio.
We spent a day driving to some towns in southern Lazio near Latina to see if that would be an area we would be interested in. We visited some spectacular hilltop towns that seemed to be perched on the side of the cliff over looking the plains around Latina with the sea visible in the distance. These towns were up in the hills and definitely different than the beach area where we are now.
