Hit'n the road...

This week we are in Agropoli, just south of Salerno, staying in a rental with two of Valerie's cousins. These are two relatives who tracked her down via an article on SlowTrav.com and wanted to visit the Italian ancestrial roots together. (More on that story from Valerie later.) We will be doing some sightseeing and visiting the towns in Basilicata, Laurenzana and Anzi, where their relatives migrated from.

Next week we will be meeting up with Valerie's sister and uncle in Rome for two weeks of seeing the sights in Rome, Umbria, Tuscany and of course Ascoli Piceno. This will be three weeks of traveling around a good portion of the Italian peninsula.
